Stephen Pierce is an associate at the firm specializing in civil, commercial, and business litigation. 

In law school, Mr. Pierce was the Vice President of the Trial Advocacy Board.  He captained a team which won semi-finalist honors at the American Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Competition.  He was also a winner of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association Trial Advocacy Competition.  In addition, Mr. Pierce served as the student representative to the Law School Faculty Committee.

An active leader in college, Mr. Pierce, received a Resolution of Appreciation and Honor for Outstanding Leadership from the Board of Visitors of the University of Mary Washington for his service in student government, Phi Alpha Theta - the National History Honor Society, and his fraternity - Psi Upsilon.  His thesis, The Role of Anti-Catholic Sentiments in the Elections of 1928 and 1960: A Comparative Analysis won a faculty award for best thesis defense and presentation.

Prior to law school, Mr. Pierce worked on many political campaigns and on Capitol Hill. During law school, he worked as a Governor’s Fellow to the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia and as a law clerk at this firm.

An avid runner, Mr. Pierce, finished his first marathon in 2012.  He is also a sports enthusiast who manages and plays on an adult coed soccer team.  Mr. Pierce is New Hampshire born but Northern Virginia bred and has called Fairfax County home for twenty years.  A graduate of Chantilly High School, he currently resides in Burke, Virginia.
